Valdivia

Already 4 months in Chile, incredible .... The Easter Island, Chiloe, Puerto Montt, ...

For a month Tonga is moored quietly at the Yates Club of Valdivia. Located in the region of the rivers of Chile, 900km south of Santiago, Valdivia will be our break this winter australis. Tonga needs a  little check up with our next return trip back to the Atlantic.

For the moment, Eva and Louise will go to the local school, and we will take care of the worn sails, antifouling that has disappeared, geerbox which do not want to go forward anymore, our rusty chain, and some few welding jobs because of a small collision with a local trawler.... Enough to keep us busy here while enjoying also the local life and meeting new people.

Our trip so far back to America Continent

  1. What a beautiful area you have chosen! Eva and Louise have grown! [You must still be feeding them... ;-) ] And how fortunate to have haul-out facilities for working on Tonga.

No doubt you will have the entire village enamored of the Tonga crew in no time- as always.

Enjoy your stay. How wonderful for the girls to be immersed in yet another Latin language.

    Well done as always!

Cheers and love from sunshine drenched SE Alaska!
